SEN Teaching Assistant – SEN School – Peckham - £500 - £550 per week
Teaching Personnel is supporting a fantastic SEN School in Peckham that need learning support assistants for the 2024/2025 academic year.
You will join a team of specialist staff supporting learners with SEMH and neurological disorders.
This role is perfect for anyone interested in SEN.

You will need:
- To be motivated to make a positive difference to the students.
- Care deeply about students’ well-being and personal development.
- An interest in SEN.
- Good communication skills and set high expectations.
- Ability to relate well to pupils and adults.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work as part of a team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- 1:1 and small group pupil support under the direct supervision of teaching staff
- Supporting independent learning and providing feedback to the teacher.
- Promote positive values, attitudes, and good pupil behaviour.
- Supporting the teacher with managing behaviour and keep pupils on task.
- Assisting in the planning and learning activities
- Promote and reinforce the inclusion, acceptance and integration of all pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
