Are you a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or Unqualified Teacher? Do you have experience supporting and teaching students with special/additional needs, as well as mainstream primary aged students? If so, keep reading!

About the role:

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a thriving and vibrant primary school in Camberwell who are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)/Unqualified Teacher.

The role will be split into teaching a small group of students with moderate learning difficulties in the mornings, and general PPA teaching across the rest of the primary school in the afternoons.

Details:

  • Mornings will be spent teaching a class of 5 students with moderate learning difficulties (students aged year 3 to year 6)
  • Afternoons will be general PPA teaching across the primary school (year 1 to year 6)
  • Full-time role (8.30am until 4pm) Monday to Friday
  • Long-term position until July 2025 to begin, with scope for extension from September 2025
  • School has on-site parking

About you:

  • Must have experience supporting/teaching special needs (SEN)
  • Must have experience as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or unqualified teacher
  • Must be proactive
  • Must be able to use initiative

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
