SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
Teaching Personnel are looking for highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work at a fun, supportive, and highly respected school. The school have supportive staff that are dedicated to helping all students succeed and have a strong focus on student well-being and mental health.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing SEND support to pupils age 4-19. Therefore, somebody who has a passion of working in special needs, good adaptability and strong relationship building will thrive in this role.
You could be supporting young people with:
- Ausitm (ASC)
- Learning Difficulties (MLD or SLD)
- Complex Learning Difficulties/Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
- ADHD
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of working with children or adults that have special needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive and patient approach
- Excellent communication skills as you could be working with young people who have communication difficulties

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
