Teaching Assistants Wanted – Make a Difference in Dorset’s Primary Schools!

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for education and a heart for helping young learners shine? We're on the lookout for dedicated, enthusiastic, and skilled professionals to join our supportive and dynamic teams across primary schools in Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch.

Whether you're supporting one-on-one, leading small group interventions, or bringing learning to life in the classroom, your commitment and care will help shape the future of every child you work with.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary school setting

  • A nurturing and proactive approach to engaging children of all abilities

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

  • A calm, patient, and adaptable nature

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) preferred

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering inspiring lessons

  • Helping children access the curriculum and thrive socially and emotionally

  • Working 1:1 with children who need extra support

  • Assisting with classroom organisation and behaviour management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
