About the Role:
We are seeking an SEN Primary Teacher to join a fantastic school in Birmingham that is committed to providing high-quality education for children with a range of additional needs. You will work closely with a supportive team to create a stimulating and safe learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to students’ needs
✅ Use a range of strategies to support children with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
✅ Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
✅ Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to support children’s progress
✅ Monitor and assess students' development, adapting teaching approaches accordingly
✅ Promote social, emotional, and academic growth
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
✔️ Experience working with SEN students, ideally in a primary setting
✔️ Strong understanding of EHCPs and differentiation strategies
✔️ A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
✔️ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
