SEN Teaching Assistant – Kidderminster
Location: Kidderminster
Salary: £85 - £110 Per Day
Contract: Full-time / Part-time (Permanent/Temporary)
Hours: Monday – Friday, school hours
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and nurturing special educational needs (SEN) school in Kidderminster. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
✅ Provide tailored support to students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs
✅ Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans
✅ Offer emotional and behavioural support to help students develop confidence and independence
✅ Use creative and adaptive approaches to engage learners in the classroom
✅ Support children with personal care and sensory needs where required
About You:
✔️ Experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred but not essential)
✔️ A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature
✔️ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔️ A proactive and flexible approach to meeting students' individual needs
✔️ Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) – desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
