SEN Teacher
Location – Thrapston
Permanent/Full Time
Salary - £30,000 to £40,000 (Based on teaching experience) Plus valuable Benefits

Teaching Personnel have a great opportunity to work with a Alternative provision secondary school based in Thrapston. The school provide high-quality, supportive, and inspirational teaching to young people at Key Stages 3 and 4. Their bespoke approach to alternative provision supports our students to either return to mainstream education or progress into a positive destination when leaving us in Year 11.

The school are looking for passionate and dedicated SEN Teachers to join their team.

About you:  

  • Core Teaching Qualifications: Teaching Qualification in (QTS/QTLS) or be willing to work towards it.Specialist Teaching Qualification (Desirable)
  • Academic Background: Degree in a Relevant Teaching Subject, equivalent for SEN (desirable) 
  • Special Education and SEN Expertise: SENCO Advanced Certificate (Desirable), Patoss AAA Course Completion (Desirable)
  • Teaching Subjects: English, Maths, and Science Proficiency, a minimum of grade 4/C or higher

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
