General Teacher Required – SEN School in Towcester

Are you a compassionate and adaptable teacher looking to make a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is seeking a General Teacher to join a small secondary SEN school in Towcester.

About the Role

  • Position: General Teacher
  • Location: Towcester
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Start Date: ASAP

This school provides a nurturing and supportive environment for students with SEN and other associated behaviours. They are looking for a versatile teacher (qualified or non- qualified) to deliver lessons across various subjects, tailored to meet the individual needs of their learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects, aligned with students' needs and abilities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment to encourage student engagement.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEMH and other SEN diagnoses.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to support each student’s educational and emotional development.

Requirements

  • Experience working in education, preferably with SEN students.
  • Ability to adapt lessons to meet the varying needs of students.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS check (Teaching Personnel will assist with this).
  • Immediate availability is highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
