SEN Teacher
Job description
A highly reputable SEN school group is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their Alternative Provision in New Ferrey. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a specialized setting, supporting students with a range of complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored learning programs to students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs and other learning difficulties.
- Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes both academic and personal development.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic support for each student.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent SEN-specific teaching qualification.
- Proven experience working with students with SEMH needs or within alternative provision.
- Strong understanding of individualized learning strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Excellent communication and team-working skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
