1-1 Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in their lives? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a team in the Wirral area, working full-time with primary-aged students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support for students, ensuring their individual learning and emotional needs are met.
• Foster a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment to help children thrive.
• Assist students in managing challenging behaviours with a calm and understanding approach.
• Build strong, trustworthy bonds with students to promote their well-being and development.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience working in a school environment, ideally within a primary setting.
• Understands or has experience working with children who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
• Is patient, empathetic, and committed to helping children reach their full potential.
• Demonstrates reliability and dedication to creating a positive learning experience for all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
