SEN Tutor – English (Spelling Focus) | £25–£30 per hour | Teaching Personnel

Are you a resilient and dedicated educator with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs?

Teaching Personnel is seeking experienced and compassionate SEN Tutors to deliver tailored English sessions, with a focus on spelling, to pupils requiring additional support. This is a flexible, rewarding opportunity offering hourly rates of £25–£30, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging 1:1 or small group tutoring sessions

  • Support students with diverse SEN needs, helping them develop confidence in spelling and literacy

  • Track and report on pupil progress, adapting your approach as needed

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN

  • Strong subject knowledge in English, particularly spelling and literacy development

  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach to teaching

  • The ability to motivate and inspire learners with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
