Location: Kirkham, PR4.
Role: Support Worker

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in:

  • Supporting Students: Provide one-to-one and group support tailored to students’ individual needs, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Fostering Independence: Help students develop life skills, confidence, and resilience.
  • Encouraging Participation: Assist in delivering engaging learning activities and encourage active involvement.
  • Promoting Well-Being: Offer emotional and behavioral support, ensuring every student feels safe and valued.
  • Collaborating with Staff: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver the best outcomes for students.

We’re seeking someone who:

  • Has patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
  • Is passionate about working with children with SEN and committed to their development.
  • Has excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Is a team player, ready to collaborate and contribute to our supportive school community.
  • Experience in a similar role or knowledge of SEN is desirable, but not essential—training will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
