Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Darwen
Start date: 26th February 2025
Role: HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant)
Year group: K21 and KS2
A primary school situated close by to Darwen town centre are looking to recruit a HLTA to provide PPA cover across school on a full-time basis. The role will be to start 26TH February 2025 until the end of the academic year.
The school is a one-form entry primary school, serving a mixed catchment area. Ofsted have graded the school ‘GOOD’ in all areas. They base the work that they do on three key words: kindness, respect, and effort, and this is reflected in everything they do. Pupils enjoy attending school and are friendly, polite and respectful.
The working hours for the role are: 08:40 – 15:40. HLTA status is essential, and you must have experience of planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum. You will be expected to work closely alongside the Class Teachers across the school to gain a good understanding of the specific needs of the pupils within each class. Strong behaviour management is also essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
