SEN Support Assistant
Job description
Do you have an interest or passion in helping children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant who is available to provide support to students who have additional needs, to include Autism, speech and language difficulties, global delay, and physical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities, to suit each students individual needs.
- Help students to manage their social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Support teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and updates as necessary.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is an advantage but not essential.
- A patient, caring, and empathetic approach to supporting children.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Adaptability to meet the individual needs of each student.
- A genuine passion for making a positive difference in children's lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
