Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) Required – SEND School in Basingstoke
Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Teaching Personnel is seeking multiple Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for a small secondary SEND school in Basingstoke.
About the Roles
- Position: Learning Support Assistants
- Location: Basingstoke
- Hours: Full-time (or 4 days per week)
- Start Date: ASAP
This welcoming SEND school caters to students with Autism diagnosis and associated behaviours. The school is seeking enthusiastic and committed staff to join their team, with opportunities for permanent positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with ASD and other associated diagnoses in their learning and development.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons that meet the needs of individual students.
- Build positive relationships with pupils to promote engagement and emotional well-being.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting.
- Previous experience supporting students with SEND is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to working with young people.
- Enhanced DBS check (Teaching Personnel will assist with this).
- Immediate availability is highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
