Job Title: SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: SEN Schools/Provisions Across Bath
Positions Available: Full-Time Long-Term Supply or Permanent

We are looking for passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to join SEN schools and provisions across Bath. We offer both full-time long-term supply and permanent positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with a range of SEN in the classroom and in small groups or 1:1 sessions.
  • Assist with planning and delivering lessons tailored to students’ needs.
  • Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and staff to monitor student progress.
  • Help students with social, emotional, and academic development.

The Ideal Candidate Will be:

  • HLTA qualified (or relevant experience) and a passion for working with SEN students.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting.
  • Good with communication skills and will take a patient, flexible approach.
  • Committed to supporting students' development and learning.
  • Over the age of 18

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
