Autism Support Assistant – Trowbridge, Bath (BA14)

Are you passionate about supporting children with autism and making a real difference in their education? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated Autism Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Trowbridge, Bath.

The Role:

As an Autism Support Assistant, you will:
✔ Provide one-to-one and small-group support for children with autism.
✔ Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
✔ Assist with social, emotional, and communication development.
✔ Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support each child’s individual needs.

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Experience working with children, ideally in an educational or care setting.
✔ Understanding of autism and strategies to support autistic children.
✔ Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
✔ A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
