Full-Time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – SEMH Provision
Start ASAP | Temp-to-Perm via Teaching Personnel

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a committed and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive and expanding school that is currently oversubscribed due to its excellent reputation.

The Role:

  • Full-time position, with the opportunity to transition onto a permanent school contract after a successful probation period.

  • Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, many of whom display challenging behaviour.

  • Trial opportunities across different classrooms to find the best fit for you and the pupils.

  • Immediate start required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with pupils exhibiting challenging behaviour.

  • Confidence and resilience in managing behaviours in a supportive, proactive way.

  • Willingness to apply for an enhanced DBS (or already have one in place).

Desirable:

  • Training in de-escalation techniques and/or Team Teach certification.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
