Teaching Assistant – Empowering Students to Succeed

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with teachers to support the delivery of engaging lessons across the curriculum.
  • Provide targeted support for students with additional needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
  • Support small group interventions and 1:1 sessions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Help students develop confidence, independence, and resilience in their learning journey.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with students.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to student welfare.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt as part of a dynamic school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
