We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic team at a thriving secondary school located in the heart of Hartlepool. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate educator who is committed to inspiring the next generation of scientists and fostering a love for learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A degree in a science-related subject (Physics, Biology, Chemistry or combined sciences).
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Passion for Science and a commitment to helping students succeed.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience in teaching KS3 & KS4 is desirable but not essential.
- A proactive and positive approach to teaching and student development.
Key Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high quality science lessons.
- Create an engaging and inclusive leaning environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and academic success.
- Asses, track and report on students’ progress, ensuring tailored support for individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum materials and teaching strategies.
- Display effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
