DO YOU HAVE THE EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE TO SUCCEED AS A FULL TIME SCIENCE TEACHER IN OUR OFSTED "GOOD" SCHOOL IN CENTRAL COVENTRY?

Teaching Personnel Birmingham are seeking a qualified, passionate and experienced Science teacher to work full time in one of our brilliant partner schools in Coventry. 

Hours: Full time

Pay: To Scale

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a UK QTS (qualified teacher status) in Secondary Science
  • PGCE in Secondary Science
  • Experience teaching science in UK secondary schools
  • Have experience of delivering engaging and high quality science lessons
  • Have experience teaching pupils with special educational needs
  • Feel confident with their behaviour/classroom management techniques

 

The role entails:

  • Delivering high quality science lessons to a range of year groups and abilities
  • Differentiating lessons to suit the individual needs within each class
  • Assessing pupil progress through different forms of assessment, you will need to provide timely and informative feedback
  • Collaborating with colleagues within the science department
  • Contributing to the wider school community
  • Communicating with parents regarding the progress of pupils and any issues that may arise

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
