ARE YOU CAPABLE OF DELIVERING HIGH QUALITY SCIENCE LESSONS IN LINE WITH THE NATIONAL CURRICULUM?

TEACHING PERSONNEL WEST MIDLANDS ARE SEEKING A QUALIFIED AND PASSIONATE SCIENCE TEACHER TO WORK AT ONE OF OUR AMAZING OFSTED RATED "OUTSTANDING" SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN COVENTRY.

 

Location: CV7

Hours: Full Time

Pay: To scale ( we will pay to scale for all long term fully qualified roles. Day to day pay rates may vary)

 

Person Specification:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

- Proven track experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school

- Confident teaching Biology, Chemisty and Physics up to and including A-Level

- Planning and marking experience

- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

 

Job Role/Responsibilities: 

- Confidently plan and deliver engaging science lessons to a range of year groups (Years 7-11)

- The ability to teach A Level is advantageous (Years 12/13)

- Adapt lessons to suit the individual needs within each class

- Maintain a strong commitment to safeguarding

- Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department

- Track pupil progress through regular forms of assessment, ensuring you provide timely and informative feedback
