Science Teacher
Are you a dedicated and confident science teacher looking to embark upon a new journey within a dynamic science department?
Teaching Personnel Birmingham are working closely with schools across Coventry to find a science teacher to inspie and educate students of all abilities across KS3 and KS4. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record, have excellent subject knowledge and is confident in their behaviour management ability.
Salary: Pay to scale
Hours: Full time (September start)
Location: Coventry

Job Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential- we accept NQTs and ECTs.
- A degree in a relevant scientific subject/discipline.
- Exceptional subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- work collaboratively with fellow colleagues within the science department and wider school community, for the learning, development and safety of all pupils.
- Commitment to continuous professional development- thrive to better yourself within the role.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality science lessons in alingment with the science national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic achievement.
- Differentiate lessons to cater to the diverse needs of students and implementing relevant support where required.
- Create a supportive classroom atmosphere where pupils feel safe to express themselves as individuals.
- Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience and cater to different learning styles.
- Regularly monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
