About the Role:
As a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Science Department, providing tailored support to help students succeed in their studies and develop a deeper understanding of scientific concepts. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Science graduate seeking hands-on experience in education or considering a future career in teaching.

- Create and adapt teaching resources to enhance learning and make the subject accessible to all students.
- Monitor student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff to inform intervention strategies and lesson planning.
- Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging active participation and engagement in lessons.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs or STEM events, to inspire students to explore their interests further.
This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic development while gaining invaluable experience in a dynamic school environment.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a degree in a Science-related field, such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a similar discipline.
- Demonstrate a strong passion for Science and a commitment to supporting students in achieving their potential.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Be proactive, patient, and adaptable, with a focus on meeting the individual needs of students.
- Show strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education.
- Be available full-time from January to the end of the academic year.
While previous experience working with young people is an advantage, it is not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
What We Offer:
- Weekly pay ranging from £419.25 to £500, processed through Teaching Personnel.
- A welcoming and inclusive school environment that values professional growth and collaboration.
- Comprehensive training and the opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience.
- The possibility of transitioning into a permanent role based on performance and suitability.
