A highly reputable and well-established Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their permanent staff team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and professional individual who thrives in a fast-paced educational environment and is eager to support the smooth running of the trust’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the senior leadership team and wider staff.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation.
- Handle telephone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Support the management of school communications and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the trust.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- A positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding support.
- Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures within an educational environment.
Desirable:
- Experience working in a Multi-Academy Trust or school setting.
- Knowledge of SIMS or similar school management systems.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
