Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to students pursuing public service qualifications. This role involves planning, teaching, and assessing across a range of public service topics, fostering the development of key skills, knowledge, and aspirations in students preparing for careers such as policing, fire and rescue, or the armed forces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver innovative lessons tailored to diverse student needs.
  • Support students in achieving their academic and career aspirations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of a well-rounded curriculum.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students on their progress.

Requirements:

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
  • Relevant subject expertise and experience in public services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve their best.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
