Automotive Lecturer – Full-time (ASAP Start)
Location: Northamptonshire

Contract: Full-time, until June 2025

A fantastic college in Northamptonshire is looking for a full-time Automotive Lecturer to join their team starting ASAP, with a contract running until June 2025. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality automotive training, covering a broad range of subjects, including vehicle systems, diagnostics, repair techniques, and the latest industry developments. The position involves teaching both theoretical concepts and practical skills in well-equipped workshops, preparing students for a variety of qualifications and industry certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons on automotive theory, diagnostics, and repair, focusing on modern technologies and industry standards.
  • Provide practical, hands-on training in automotive workshops, using state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Assess students’ progress and provide regular feedback to support their learning and development.
  • Ensure that students are fully prepared for exams, certifications, and real-world industry challenges.
  • Keep abreast of the latest advancements in automotive technology to incorporate into course materials.
  • Support students in their personal and academic development, providing guidance and mentorship throughout their studies.

About You:

  • Extensive experience in the automotive industry, particularly in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of modern vehicles.
  • A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students.
  • Passion for teaching and sharing your industry knowledge with students.
