PSHE/Life Skills Teacher 

Teaching Personnel are the exclusive partner of a regional Trust recruting a PSHE and Life Skills Teacher to join one of their Secondary Schools.

  • Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
  • Start date: ASAP (February Half Term ideally)
  • Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm or Permanent contract on offer
  • Pay: M1 - M6, UPS 1 -3; Contract would pay weekly on a daily rate equivalent £150 - 230+ for Qualified Teachers)

About the School:
This Academy is located in the heart of Milton Keynes, situated in a pleasant local area and a first-choice Secondary school for parents in Milton Keynes. They are expanding their Teacher workforce to recruit a PSHE and Life Skills Teacher to join them on a permanent basis. This Secondary School prides themselves with a long-standing, good reputation in the Milton Keynes city, for its excellent learning environment, modern classroom facilities, and hosting a culture of respect, subject passion and good standard of behaviour.

Contract Details:
This is a temp to perm position, meaning, a 3-4 month period through Teaching Personnel as a probationary period, with the view of being offered a permanent role before Summer 2025. The hours are full-time, arriving for 8:15am and finishing at 3:15pm. You will be involved with planning, marking and delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4 for Life Skills, as well as be involved with all CPD and parents evenings when required. 

As a Life Skills Teacher, they would expect applicants to have prior knowledge and understanding of this part of the curriculum and be comfortable delivering sensitive topics. 

Pay
You would be paid to the National Teacher Pay Scale salary between MPS - UPS on a daily rate equivalent on a weekly basis during the probation period then salary offer directly with the school after this is complete.
