Qualified Teacher of Physics

Teaching Personnel are the exclusive partner of a regional Trust seeking a Qualified Physics Teacher to join one of their Secondary Schools permanently.

  • Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Contract: Temp to Permanent
  • Pay: M1 - M6, UPS 1 -3, Contract would pay weekly on a daily rate equivalent £150 - 230+ for Qualified Teachers)

Are you a skilled, ambitious Teacher of Physics? Are you passionate about Science and engaging young adults into this STEM subject? Are you ready for your next challenge to lead a talented and supportive art team and inspire pupils across Key Stages 4 and 5? This is an exciting opportunity for a Science Teacher with a Physics specialism to have the opportunity to have a Physics only timetable, teaching GCSE and A level Physics only. We are open to applications from Qualified Physics Teachers or experienced Further Education Teachers.

Could this be you? Do you demonstrate:

  • Passion for Teaching
  • PGCE Qualification specialising in Science, Physics or related-subject 
  • Excellent knowledge of GCSE Science and A Level Physics is essential
  • Excellent understanding of teaching Secondary age pupils 
  • A 'can do' and positive attitude to inspire pupils
  • An ability to motivate and inspire, whilst using your own initiative 
  • Willingness to learn and support others
  • Patient and friendly attitude 
  • High levels of resilience and emotional intelligence.

This is a large Secondary Academy well-established in the Milton Keynes area for providing a successful secondary school with sixth form to over 1500 students. The Academy is reputable in the area and a first-choice school for parents in the area. The school is positioned in West Milton Keynes, making it a great location for staff to join from Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. The schools latest Ofsted report is Good (2024), noting that "Pupils are very happy at this inclusive school".
