Position: Primary Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: Telford (TF1)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed Term
Start Date: April 2025 – End of Summer Term
Essential Requirements: QTS and experience teaching in a primary setting

A welcoming and inclusive Catholic primary school in Telford (TF1) is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover basis. The school prides itself on providing a nurturing, high-achieving environment, fostering strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community. The Role:

  • Teach and inspire primary-aged pupils, delivering a broad and engaging curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring every child thrives.
  • Work closely with staff, parents, and the wider school community to support academic and personal development.
  • Maintain the school’s strong Catholic values, promoting respect, empathy, and responsibility.
  • Plan, assess, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with national curriculum expectations.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching in a primary setting.
  • Passionate about delivering engaging and inspiring lessons.
  • Able to uphold and contribute to the school’s Catholic ethos and values.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, working collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
