Exciting Opportunity for a Year R Teacher in Southampton for the summer term!
Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with a love for working with young children? We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Year R Teacher to join our vibrant school in Southampton. Our Year R class is filled with curious and eager learners, and we are looking for an experienced teacher to inspire them and create a fun, engaging, and inclusive classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote the development of key skills for early learners.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.
- Support children's emotional and social development, building strong relationships with parents and guardians.
- Work collaboratively with fellow staff members to create a cohesive and effective learning experience.
- Assess and monitor children's progress and provide feedback for both students and parents.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with children in the Early Years (preferably in a Year R setting).
- Passionate about early childhood education with a deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
- A creative, dynamic approach to teaching, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Enthusiastic, dedicated, and flexible, with a genuine desire to help young children succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
