Primary Teacher

Year 1 Class Teacher Required in Kirkham, PR4 

A friendly and welcoming school in Kirkham is looking for a Year 1 class teacher to join them as soon as possible with employment being offered until Summer. 

This school is a one-form entry primary school located in Kirkham, with a strong ethos centered on high expectations for all pupils.

This role will require a Year 1 class teacher who brings a positive attitude and can provide consistency and care for the class until the end of the academic year. You will have access to weekly PPA time to plan and prepare lessons, and you’ll be supported by a dedicated teaching assistant in delivering creative and engaging lessons.

The successful candidate will have:

• UK qualified teacher status (QTS)
• Recent teaching experience within the last 10 years
• ECTs are encouraged to apply
• Ability to differentiate content for pupils with SEND
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Proficiency in using formative and summative assessments to maximise pupil progress
