Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit Supply Teachers looking for work across Cardiff and the surrounding areas!

As a supply teacher with Teaching Personnel, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate the next generation and work with a range of age groups in Primary Schools. Due to the flexible work opportunities we can offer, you will have full access to your diary and keep us updated on your available days a week whether that be 2 days or 5 days. As a supply teacher, you will be responsible to create a positive and engaging learning environment for the children and help support with work that is in line with the schools curriculum.

• Delivering high quality lessons to the best of your ability
• Good behaviour management and communication skills
• Create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom
• Being adaptable to work across different age groups and schools
• Staying up to date with the latest educational trends and techniques

Ideal Supply Teacher:

The ideal Supply Teacher will need to be reliable and enthusiastic to ensure lessons are engaging. Adaptability is essential to work across a range of ages and schools, and fit with the needs of local Primary Schools in Cardiff. There may be instances where work opportunities come at short notice, therefore it is beneficial that the teacher is prepared for a call on the day they are available to work. The role could suit the needs of both Newly Qualified or Experienced Teachers who are looking for a role that can be tailored to their needs.

Essential Criteria:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• EWC Registration – mandatory requirement in Wales.
• Enhanced Child Only DBS that is on the DBS Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
