Location - Cardiff

Pay – £166.32 per day

Start Date – 28^th April 2025

Hours – 8:30-3:30 (Monday-Friday)

Job Description:

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking to recruit Primary School Teachers who are looking to work in the Cardiff area on a full-time or part-time basis. The role will consist of planning and delivering lessons to the children, whilst ensuring they are engaging and in line with the school’s curriculum. Monitoring the pupil’s progression and development is required, as well as creating a safe and positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to create relationships with both the pupils and parents in the school, as well creating positive relationships with the staff and working collaboratively when required. Being organised and creative will also be very beneficial in this role, with many schools being open for the teacher to bring along new techniques to the classroom.

Successful Teacher Criteria:

• Enthusiastic and confident when leading the class.
• Ability to create and maintain relationships with children, parents, and staff at the school.
• Excellent communication skills and good behaviour management.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team environment.  

Requirement Criteria:

• Enhanced DBS (child only) checks must be complete before the role will commence.
• EWC registration – mandatory requirement in Wales.
• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
