PPA Teacher – Liverpool City Centre (L1)

The Opportunity

A highly regarded primary school in the heart of Liverpool City Centre is seeking an experienced and proactive Primary Teacher to provide Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) cover across five classes, alongside delivering targeted intervention support.

This part-time role is scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, supporting pupils from Year 1 to Year 5. In addition, one half-day per week will be dedicated to delivering focused maths support for a small group of Year 5 pupils to help close learning gaps.

This vacancy has arisen due to the current postholder relocating and may offer a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate. It would suit an experienced teacher seeking a fulfilling part-time role within a positive school community.

  • Confident, flexible and able to work independently across year groups
  • Committed to supporting pupil progress through high-quality teaching and targeted interventions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
