Role: Senior Pastoral Staff

Key Responsibilities:
- Pastoral Support: Ensure students can actively participate in learning and reach their full potential through effective pastoral care.
- Raising Standards: Lead and deliver pastoral support to a year group, assisting individual students and their families.
- Overcoming Barriers: Help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
- Improving Attendance and Behaviour: Support initiatives to enhance student punctuality, attendance, and behaviour, contributing to a positive school environment.
- Transition Support: Facilitate smooth transitions for students from other schools, ensuring their well-being.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: 5 A*-Cs at GCSE, including English and Maths.
- Experience: Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting, particularly in providing pastoral support.
- Skills: Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and adults, and confidently speak in front of large groups of students and small groups of staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
