Role: Senior Pastoral Staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pastoral Support: Ensure students can actively participate in learning and reach their full potential through effective pastoral care.
  • Raising Standards: Lead and deliver pastoral support to a year group, assisting individual students and their families.
  • Overcoming Barriers: Help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
  • Improving Attendance and Behaviour: Support initiatives to enhance student punctuality, attendance, and behaviour, contributing to a positive school environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: 5 A*-Cs at GCSE, including English and Maths.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting, particularly in providing pastoral support.
  • Skills: Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and adults, and confidently speak in front of large groups of students and small groups of staff.
