Supply Teacher

Location: Primary Schools across Bristol
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Part-Time, Full-Time, and Long-Term Opportunities Available

Are you a passionate and experienced primary teacher looking for flexible work in schools across Bristol? We have exciting opportunities available for supply teachers to join our agency and work in a variety of primary school settings. Whether you’re looking for part-time hours, full-time roles, or long-term placements, we have something to suit your preferences.

About the Role:
As a supply teacher, you will provide high-quality teaching and learning support across a range of primary schools in Bristol. You will step into different classrooms, bringing your expertise and enthusiasm to help students achieve their potential. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment, and ensuring that students continue to progress in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons based on provided lesson plans
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive, respectful learning environment
  • Support students with their learning, ensuring all children are given the opportunity to succeed
  • Communicate effectively with school staff to ensure continuity of education
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs of students
  • Ensure that pupils are safe and supported at all times

About You:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent (Essential)
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting (Highly Desirable)
  • A strong passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to new school environments
  • Availability for part-time, full-time, and/or long-term placements
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (can be provided if necessary)

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £49.50, plus an annual subscription fee of £16 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
