Newly Qualified Supply Teachers – Work Before the Summer Break!
Location: Plymouth & Surrounding Areas
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: £110 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Flexible supply work with short-term, long-term, and temp-to-perm opportunities
Are you finishing your final teaching placement and looking for paid experience before the summer holidays? This is a fantastic opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to gain hands-on experience in a variety of schools, build confidence, and make valuable connections before securing a permanent role in September.
The Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will:
- Gain valuable classroom experience by covering lessons across different year groups and subjects.
- Work in a variety of schools, adapting to different teaching environments.
- Develop classroom management skills and confidence before starting a full-time role.
- Teach pre-set lessons, ensuring a positive learning environment for students.
- Build relationships with schools, potentially leading to long-term opportunities in September.
What We’re Looking For:
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) finishing their final placement.
- Passionate and adaptable individuals keen to gain experience across different settings.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
