Music Teacher – Exmouth Area

Are you a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher looking for your next opportunity?

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Music Teacher to work in schools across the Exmouth area. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in music education who can inspire students of all abilities and ages.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5).

  • Encourage creativity and musical development in students through practical and theoretical lessons.

  • Support and prepare students for performances, concerts, and examinations.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching Music at secondary level.

  • Ability to play and teach an instrument is desirable.

  • Strong classroom management skills.

  • A passion for music and inspiring students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
