This highly reputable school is seeking to appoint a dedicated and dynamic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (French & Spanish) for a full-time position beginning in September to cover a long-term vacancy.

Role Overview:

• Delivering high-quality French and Spanish lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Planning and preparing engaging lessons that promote language acquisition, cultural awareness, and conversational confidence.

• Creating a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages students of all abilities to thrive.

• Assessing student progress, setting challenging but achievable targets, and providing constructive feedback.

• Contributing to the development of the MFL department and promoting a passion for languages across the school.

• Participating in wider school activities, parent evenings, and collaborative departmental planning.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification with specialism in French and Spanish.

• Have experience teaching MFL within UK secondary schools.

• Be passionate about language education, inspiring curiosity and enthusiasm for global cultures.

• Be committed to raising standards and driving progress for all students.

• Show strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.

• Be an adaptable and collaborative team player eager to contribute to a welcoming and high-achieving department.
