Maths Tutor
Location: Mansfield
Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Maths Tutor to help students of all ages master the concepts and skills they need to succeed in mathematics. Whether it’s helping a student prepare for an exam, tackling difficult concepts, or simply boosting confidence, your expertise will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their academic goals.
As a Maths Tutor, you will provide one-on-one sessions, delivering engaging and personalised instruction that caters to each student’s specific needs and learning pace.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in maths at various levels.

Design customised lesson plans that address individual learning goals and areas of improvement.

Help students with assignments and exam preparation, ensuring a clear understanding of key concepts.

Track and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.

Foster a positive, motivating, and supportive learning environment.

Address any areas of difficulty and offer additional resources or practice exercises as needed.

Stay updated with the latest teaching techniques and resources to enhance lesson quality.
Qualifications:

A degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

Proven experience tutoring or teaching mathematics.

Strong understanding of mathematical concepts, from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus or algebra (depending on the level you teach).

Patience, adaptability, and the ability to explain complex ideas in a clear and approachable way.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
