1:1 Maths Tutor

Location: Nottingham (NG3)

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored one-on-one Maths tutoring sessions.

• Develop individualised lesson plans to suit the specific needs and learning styles of each student.

• Support students in areas such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and other relevant topics.

• Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust teaching methods as necessary.

• Create a positive, encouraging, and supportive learning environment to boost student confidence.

Requirements:

• A degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

• Prior tutoring experience.

• Strong knowledge of the UK education system, including GCSE and A-Level Maths.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.

• Patient, friendly, and adaptable approach to teaching.

• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

• Teaching qualifications such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent.
