Maths Teacher – Long-Term Placement (Tameside)
Location: Tameside
Salary: £140 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: April 2025
Are you an enthusiastic Maths teacher looking for a rewarding long-term role? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Tameside.
Role Overview:
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, ensuring all abilities are catered for.
- Assessment and Feedback: Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Maths department to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
- Classroom Management: Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Student Development: Inspire and motivate students to enjoy learning Maths and achieve their academic goals.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Maths at the secondary level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to student progress and achievement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
