Maths Teacher – Tameside

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers? Teaching Personnel is working with a thriving secondary school in Tameside, seeking a skilled Maths Teacher to join their team and make a positive impact on students' education.

About the Role:

  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Contract: Full-time, ongoing
  • Pay Rate: £162–£251 per day (dependent on pay scale and experience)
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering a love for the subject.
  • Use innovative teaching methods to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Track, monitor, and evaluate student progress, providing tailored interventions as needed.
  • Contribute to the Maths department's development of high-quality resources and schemes of work.
  • Engage in whole-school initiatives and support extracurricular activities to enrich students' learning experiences.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting, with a solid understanding of the national curriculum and GCSE requirements.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for making Maths accessible and enjoyable for all learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
