Mathematics Teacher – Tameside

Are you a dedicated Mathematics Teacher with a passion for making numbers come alive in the classroom? Teaching Personnel is thrilled to partner with a forward-thinking secondary school in Tameside seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team.

About the Role:

  • Start Date: January 2024
  • Contract: Full-time, ongoing
  • Pay Rate: £162–£251 per day (dependent on pay scale and experience)
  • Deliver engaging, innovative, and well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to support a wide range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing targeted intervention where necessary.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging a growth mindset in students.
  • Work collaboratively within a dynamic Maths department to develop high-quality resources and curriculum plans.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics to KS3 and KS4 in UK secondary schools.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and exam board specifications.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for inspiring young minds and supporting their academic and personal development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
