Mathematics Teacher – Tameside
Are you a dedicated Mathematics Teacher with a passion for making numbers come alive in the classroom? Teaching Personnel is thrilled to partner with a forward-thinking secondary school in Tameside seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team.
About the Role:
- Start Date: January 2024
- Contract: Full-time, ongoing
- Pay Rate: £162–£251 per day (dependent on pay scale and experience)
- Deliver engaging, innovative, and well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to support a wide range of learning styles and abilities.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing targeted intervention where necessary.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging a growth mindset in students.
- Work collaboratively within a dynamic Maths department to develop high-quality resources and curriculum plans.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics to KS3 and KS4 in UK secondary schools.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and exam board specifications.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
- A passion for inspiring young minds and supporting their academic and personal development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
