Maths Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated full-time Mathematics Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a crucial role in helping our students achieve their full potential in mathematics, developing their problem-solving skills, and fostering a love for the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Experience teaching mathematics at secondary level, preferably up to GCSE or A-level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
