Maths Teacher
Job description
Teaching Personnel are in collaboration with a excellent secondary school in the B37 area of Birmingham, to appoint a maths teacher on a full time basis!
The school require their teachers to be confident, reliable and respectful at all times.
Location: Birmingham, B37
Hours: Full time (can be flexible for the right candidate)
Rate of Pay: To Scale (for full time positions)
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experienced teaching maths in mainstream UK secondary schools
- Strong behaviour management skills and excellent classroom presence
- Excellent subject knowledge and curriculum knowledge
- Awareness and understanding of safeguarding principles
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Some planning responsibility (where required)
- Deliver engaging maths lessons to a range of year groups and abilities
- Differentiate lessons to suit learning styles of each class
- Assess pupils progress and development on a regular basis, providing them with informative feedback
- Ensure children with special educational needs are receiving the tailored education required to succeed
- Communicate effectively with colleagues within the maths department
- Adhere to schools policies and procedures at all times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
