Maths Specialist Cover Supervisor / Supply Teacher

About the Role
Do you love mathematics and want to share that enthusiasm while enjoying true flexibility? As a Maths Specialist Cover Supervisor / Supply Teacher, you’ll:
- Deliver pre-prepared Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, covering the absence of regular teachers.
- Foster a positive learning environment, ensuring students stay engaged and supported.
- Occasionally cover general classes, broadening your experience across the curriculum.
- Benefit from a clock-in, clock-out approach—no planning or marking required (unless agreed for extended placements, with pay adjusted accordingly).
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience or qualifications in Maths (QTS, A Levels, NVQs, or a related degree is beneficial).
- Confident and able to lead a classroom independently.
- Strong communication skills to guide students and manage behaviour effectively.
- Adaptable and enthusiastic, willing to work in different schools across the Southampton region.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
