Maths Specialist and General Cover Supervisor – Flexible Roles in Southampton

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Maths Specialist Cover Supervisor to work flexibly across secondary schools in Southampton. Whether you're a qualified teacher (QTS) or have relevant experience or qualifications in Maths (e.g., Level 2/3 qualifications, A Levels, NVQs, or a degree), this role allows you to focus on your subject expertise while enjoying the flexibility to fit your schedule.

About the Role:

  • Specialist Maths cover: Deliver engaging and inspiring Maths lessons, helping students develop confidence in numerical and analytical skills.
  • Flexible placements: Take on short-term or long-term assignments tailored to your availability and preferences.
  • No unnecessary workload: Most roles don’t require planning or marking. If longer-term responsibilities arise, your salary will reflect this, ensuring you’re fairly rewarded.
  • General cover opportunities: Occasionally cover other subjects, gaining valuable experience and supporting schools as needed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
