Maths Teacher – Full-Time Position in Newport Secondary School

Location: Newport, Wales | Job Type: Full-Time | Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Contract: Long-Term, Potential for Permanent

The Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Mathematics to pupils aged 11–16 in line with the national curriculum.

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that promote progress and inspire students.

  • Track and assess student development and provide constructive feedback.

  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement.

  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.


Requirements:

To be considered for this Maths Teacher role, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply).

  • EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration.

  • Two professional references covering the last 24 months.
