Maths Teacher – Full-Time Position in Newport Secondary School
Location: Newport, Wales | Job Type: Full-Time | Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Contract: Long-Term, Potential for Permanent

The Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will:

Teach Mathematics to pupils aged 11–16 in line with the national curriculum.

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that promote progress and inspire students.

Track and assess student development and provide constructive feedback.

Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement.

Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements:
To be considered for this Maths Teacher role, you must have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

Right to work in the UK.

Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply).

EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration.
-
Two professional references covering the last 24 months.
